Motology is an MOT test centre at 2 Ceres Road, Cupar, Fife, KY15 5JT. We are the data controller for any personal information you send us through this website. You can reach us on 01334 303550 or at info@motology.uk.

When you use our booking or contact forms, we collect the details you type in: your name, email address, phone number, vehicle registration, and any message or notes you add. We don't use tracking cookies or sell your information to anyone.

We only use your details to deal with your booking request or enquiry. That means getting back to you, confirming an appointment, and sending you an email copy of what you submitted.

Under UK GDPR, we rely on two lawful bases. For bookings, it's processing needed to take steps at your request before providing a service (contract). For general enquiries, it's our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us.

Emails about your submission are sent through SMTP2GO, an email delivery service. Form submissions are stored with our website hosting and database provider. Both act on our instructions and only process your data so we can run this website. We don't share your details with anyone else unless the law requires it.

We keep form submissions for 12 months, then delete them. If you become a customer, we may need to keep some records longer to meet our legal obligations.

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to ask for it to be moved to someone else. To do any of this, email info@motology.uk or ring 01334 303550. We'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
